Nathan Grey appointed to the Technical Director

Japan SR Association announces the appointment of Nathan Grey, who is joining the coaching team as Technical Director of the HITO-Communications SUNWOLVES for the 2020 Super Rugby season.
Nathan Grey has been the Assistant Coach of the Wallabies since 2014 until the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
He also has experience in playing and coaching in Japan for five years. His coaching role with the SUNWOLVES will be focused on defense.
The SUNWOLVES will go into the forthcoming 2020 season under the lead of Head Coach Naoya Okubo, who will be joined by Keisuke Sawaki as the Coaching Coordinator, Yoshikazu Tamura as the Scrum Coach and Nathan Grey as the Technical Director in his coaching team.

Born on 31st March1975, in Australia
Nathan Grey played for the Waratahs between 1998 and 2005, earning 94 caps. He also played 35 games for the Wallabies and was part of the championship team who won the 1999 Rugby World Cup. He played five years for Kyuden in Japan(2005-2010), also coaching the team in the latter years.
Following his time at Kyuden, his coaching career continued at the Melbourne Rebels (2010-2013) and the Waratahs (2013-2017), contributing to the team's 2014 Super Rugby title.
Most recently, he has been an assistant coach with the Wallabies since 2014.
