Japan SR Association (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yuichi Ueno) announces the Super Rugby 2018 match schedule for HITO-Communications SUNWOLVES. (Some schedules, Venues and Kick-Off time will be announced later)
As announcement made by SANZAAR in April 2017, Super Rugby tournament will be restructured from 2018. The SUNWOLVES will move into the Australian Conference from the South African Conference.
We will have sixteen games consisted with eight home games and eight away games (four games in Australia, two games in New Zealand, and two games in South Africa).
Remarkably, we will hold the season opener in Tokyo for three consecutive years. We will be playing against the Brumbies, the defending champion of the Australian conference in 2017. We will clash with the Chiefs from New Zealand again, this time in Tokyo on 24th of March.
