We are excited that we are back home inJapan and playing the last game of our season against the very strong Auckland Blues side.
We brought some fresh legs into selection this week. Our center combination is Timothy Lafaele and William Tupou whohad a really good June test series and it’s good to have both of them back.
Also we have got young KooJiwonwho will make his first start in Super Rugbythisseason. He worked reallyhard after a long injury, so he will get his first chance this weekend.
Yuya Odo will get an opportunity off the bench. I really thank Yamaha Jubilo for giving him a chance to come and join the Sunwolves to cover the injuries. Odo has been really diligent with his role trying his best since he joined us in South Africa. I am really excited with these players for the game.
We still have a large number of injuries in the squad, so the players who got their opportunity this weekend really focused on recovery. Both members back from tour and members who joined inJapan are pushing excitement around good energy levels.It is always good to be back with the whole group.

This week’s team is a very exciting team. Some of the players will be given another shot after the Stormers game, some fresh leg members will be coming in so we are really looking forward for the game.Our preparation is going really well. We will focus on our strong points, our attacking game and fix some things on defense.Also this is the last game of the season. I really hope it will be a full crowd atPrince Chichibu Memorial Stadium.I really just want to go out there and thank the supporters for the support throughout the whole season by playing good rugby.
