Japan SR Association (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yuichi Ueno) announces that Sam Wykes from HITO-Communications SUNWOLVES’ reached his 100th Super Rugby match on July 1st in South Africa; Super Rugby 2017 round 15 Lions vs HITO-Communications SUNWOLVES.

“I am very grateful and humble for achieving this 100 cap milestone with the Sunwolves boys whom I call them my family, and also the Western Force where I have a lot of good mates and memories. I suppose there haven’t been a lot of wins along my career, but the journey has been awesome. I just want to stay humble and make the boys and my family proud of it.”
“When I first started playing Super Rugby I never imagined of getting here. I was with Honey Badger (Nick Cummins) and James Stannard saying that, we would be lucky if we could get one cap, and then two caps… Then after that I reached fifty. At that time, I honestly did not imagine getting all the way here, but now I am really grateful of joining the Centurion club.”
